Operations Coordinator

  • Job Status: The full-time (40 hours/week) Operations Coordinator will primarily work Monday – Friday under the direction and supervision of the President & CEO. Evening, event, and holiday work is required.

    Position Overview: The Operations Coordinator is an organized, focused, and detail-oriented team member who will be responsible for bookkeeping, payroll, purchasing, administrative coordination of the operations, and other duties as directed. The Operations Coordinator must conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work practices, and instructions. Candidates must have a demonstrated passion for the mission of MMCM.

    Operations Coordinator Responsibilities: Providing administrative support and assisting in facilitating the operations which includes but is not limited to:

    • General bookkeeping and accounting
    • Monthly reporting and journal entry
    • Payroll and associated activities
    • Reporting and management of taxes and other liabilities
    • Opening, sorting, and responding to communications
    • Maintaining files, scheduling, inventory, and organizational database
    • Purchasing
    • Funds management (grants/donors/sponsors)

    Physical Demands:

    • Requires sitting for periods of time, working with computers, standing, and walking periodically
    • May need to lift or move 10-20 pounds during a workday

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education and/or experience equivalent to position requirements
    • Bookkeeping and accounting skills
    • Proficient in Intuit programs, including QuickBooks
    • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
    • Must be detail-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively and independently within their work area
    • Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to database management, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Operations Suite
