Kids at Heart - 2020

January 09, 2020

SAGINAW, Mich. — On Thursday, February 6th, 2020, the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum hosted its 13th Annual Kids at Heart fundraiser, an event for grown-ups that’s as fun and interactive as our galleries themselves! Guests enjoyed gallery games and got to bid on family fun packages, tickets to our region’s finest venues, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

This year’s event was extra special because it featured the first look at our first new gallery opening since 2014, the Tinker Track! Tasty hors d’oeuvres from the Bavarian Inn Restaurant and craft beer from Oracle Brewing Company were available for guests to enjoy while they bid on silent & live auction items. In addition, guests were able to take part in fun gallery games that will made them feel like a kid at heart!

Support from this event allows our museum to develop interactive and educational learning experiences for our youth; create opportunities for youth-at-risk and their families to access our Children’s Museum by offsetting admission for field trips and special events; and explore what’s next for our galleries to fully engage the curiosity and creativity of our children.

Leading event sponsor, Garber Management Group, encouraged guests to bid high to enhance the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum galleries and help create museum access for all Great Lakes Bay Region children.

Save the date for next year’s event! We hope you can join us for our 14th Annual Kids at Heart fundraiser on Thursday, February 4th, 2021.
