Reopening Postponed

June 26, 2020

We are incredibly sad to announce that our reopening has been postponed.

The safety of our guests, volunteers, and staff is our number one priority. We feel we need to push back our reopening date in order to provide the most safe experience for all who enjoy MMCM. At this time we do not have a new reopening date set.

We have also made changes to our Clean Safe Fun reopening plan. Please note the following updates:

  • PPE FOR GUESTS: Guests ages 5 and older are required to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth. Masks are recommended for guests ages 2-5. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says face coverings should not be placed on children under the age of 2.
  • REOPENING PHASES: MMCM does not have a new reopening date set yet. Once we reopen, we will have a Phase 1 soft opening for members. In Phase 2 we will reopen fully to the public.
  • REMOVAL OF TIMED ENTRIES: When we open, guests will be able to enter the museum as normal.
  • BIRTHDAY PARTIES: Only two parties may be scheduled at one time. Each party will have a designated room and maximum of 20 guests. MMCM will not be able to provide any food storage for parties and there will be no premium parties until further notice. Modified party times are Tuesday – Sunday: 1-3 p.m.
  • DONATIONS: MMCM will not be accepting any Scrap Studio donations until further notice.

As always, watch our social media and website for the latest updates as we move forward. Thank you for your understanding and your commitment to MMCM.

View our updated reopening plan that expands on our twelve years of experience operating as a clean, safe, and fun museum. Remaining clean, safe, and fun will be our guiding principles as we restart our operations and welcome back our guests. We hope to see you soon.

Shine bright,

Sam Jones
